| Michael Robert
Malin (AKA "Boogie") |
Born
(July 16, 1970) and raised in Concord, New Hampshire, and
often wears T-shirts and hats with the state's area code
603 printed on them. He is best known for winning the American
television series Big Brother 7 All-Stars in 2006. He also
competed in Big Brother 2 in 2001. He is commonly known by friends and fans as "Boogie".
Outside
the Big Brother House, Mike co-owns the Dolce group which maintains many restaurants
varying in style and cuisine in the Los Angeles area
and is opening new locations in Las Vegas, Atlanta, and Dallas in 2007. Most
recently opened up Ten Pin Alley (bowling) in Atlanta and working on other projects
to be announced, at a later date, here at Team Chilltown.
Big Brother 2 (AKA The First Time 'Round)
In season two, Mike finished 8th out of 12 and was part of the infamous Chilltown
alliance with Will Kirby and Shannon Dragoo. Mike was the Head of Household,
(HOH) in week 1 and nominated Nicole Nilson Schaffrich and Sheryl Braxton for
eviction with the hopes to rid the house of Nicole.
His plan backfired however
and he, Shannon and Will were left alone. Mike was evicted in week 4 in a vote
of 4-1 with only Will voting to keep him over Mike's in-house girlfriend Krista.
Mike returned to vote for the winner in the season finale. Mike voted for his
friend and Chilltown ally Will over Nicole, with Will winning the final vote
5-2 overall.
Big Brother 7 All Stars (AKA The Win!)
Mike was chosen to participate in Big Brother 7 by the producers after failing
to be voted back into the house with the public vote. Will and Mike quickly
reformed Chilltown as they remain close friends and business partners outside
of the house.
In week 4, Head of Household Janelle Pierzina nominated Mike
and Erika Landin for eviction, but Mike won the power of veto and saved himself.
In week 6, Mike won the new “Coup d'Etat” power that allowed
him to overthrow an HOH’s pick for nominations and change the nominees
at an eviction ceremony for the next three evictions. In week 7, just one
week later, in the second HOH competition Mike won his first HOH of the season
and nominated James and Janelle. Chilltown's plan was to vote out the nominee
who didn't win veto. Janelle won the veto and took herself off and Mike nominated
George with the intention of James being voted out, which did happen.
During
the double eviction night of week 8, Mike was nominated by Head of Household
Janelle after initial nominee Erika saved herself with the veto; George,
the other nominee, was voted out 2-0 and Mike stayed in the house. In week
9 Mike won his second HOH competition guaranteeing him a place in the final
three. Mike nominated Erika and Janelle for eviction, however, when Janelle
won POV, he was forced to nominate Chilltown member Will Kirby, who was then
evicted in a single vote by Janelle.
Shocked by this, Mike then went on to
win the pivotal final HOH, winning in Rounds Two and Three after throwing
the initial round. He used this to evict Janelle, claiming strategic reasons
and that she had too many friends in the Jury House (this is widely believed
as a genuine reason, and that the eviction was not an act of revenge). He
stood in the Final Two against Erika Landin and then won the game by a 6-1
vote.

| William Terence Kirby (AKA
Dr. Will) |
Born (January 2, 1973) in Florence, Italy, Will was raised
in Tallahassee, Florida where he graduated from Florida State University
School. Will's father and step-mother, David Kirby and Barbara Hamby, are
both authors and have been professors in the English Department at Florida
State University for over 35 years.
In 1995, Will received his degree
in Biology from Emory University. He obtained his degree in Osteopathic
Medicine from Nova Southeastern University in 2000 and did his first year
of postgraduate training in Internal medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center & Miami
Heart Institute in Miami Beach, Florida in 2001.
He is an American
television personality; the winner of the American reality television show
Big Brother 2 and one of the final four contestants in Big Brother 7: All-Stars.
In both series, Will forged various alliances, which often proved illusory,
although his loyalty to the group of alpha males and alpha females known
as "Chilltown" was never shaken. In Big Brother 2, Will lasted
to the end of the competition with Nicole Nilson Schaffrich, at which point,
a jury of evicted contestants voted six-to-three for him to win the season's
$500,000 US top prize.
Outside of the house, Will is a dermatologist and invests in Mike Malin's Dolce
Group, other upcoming projects, and puts out his own Big Brother-themed clothing
line. Most recently, after 6 years of production and research, he recently released
his own skin care line. Bearing his name, Kirby Cosmeceuticals is a
complete line of skin care involving clarifying, cleansing, anti-aging, moisturizers,
toners, eye care and sun protection, all available through KirbyDermatology.com.
You can also find out more about Dr. Will Kirby, read his blogs, interact with
fans, and chat on occasion with him, via the Chat room and Forum located at www.WillKirby.com.
Dr. Will Kirby has most recently been featured in various shows and segments
on the "E" Channel's Dr. 90210 and is scheduled to return for the next
season as well.
Big Brother 2 (AKA The Win!)
Kirby never won a Head of Household competition and was nominated
a total of four times in the Big Brother house. He was nominated three
times by Hardy Hill in weeks 3, 5 and 8 and once by Nicole in week 10.
Therefore Kirby was up for nomination 4 out of 9 times (Week 7 had no HOH,
nominations, or eviction due to Justin Sebik's ejection in week 1).
Barely
surviving being nominated for eviction, Will used trickery and deceit to
avoid being evicted. He was the first on the show to intentionally lose
competitions and was seen as weak by his fellow contestants. He also bizarrely
sought to be hated by the other houseguests. He used lies and deception
after admitting to his fellow houseguests that he would do so, lied about
conversations and alliances and even lied about past experiences in his
life. Regardless, Will is considered the most devious player in Big Brother
history.
His pre-game strategy was to form an alliance with the young members
of the group by aligning himself with Mike "Boogie" Malin and
Shannon Dragoo in "Chill Town". Will was well known for
making promises he didn't intend to keep to HOH winners and getting people
to do the dirty work. His name the "Puppet Master" derived from
this. Will hoped that this group would be the target and that he'd emerge
unscathed until the infighting in the other group began. Due to this strategy,
Kirby was not seen as a threat. Constantly boasting on his Diary Room sessions
that his game was quiet and deceptive and - while he was often under-estimated
- he won the second season. Will won the show with Monica Bailey, Krista
Stegall, Kent Blackwelder, Mike Malin, Shannon Dragoo and Sheryl Braxton
voting for him to win.
Big Brother 7 All Stars (AKA The Puppetmaster Era)
On July 6, 2006, Producers chose Will to re-enter the Big Brother house
to take part in Big Brother 7: All-Stars, CBS's All-Star edition of the
long-running reality show. In Week 3, James Rhine, the week's Head of
Household, nominated him for eviction. During the third eviction ceremony,
Jase was evicted instead of Kirby by a vote of 9-0, even though Will
gave a long speech about how he wanted to be voted out and that he hated
every single person in the house.
During his Diary Sessions with
Boogie, they pantomimed, talking to each other on the phone and would
brag about their recent manipulations. These segments invariably end
with both doubled over in hysterical laughter. In one instance, Kirby
laughs so hard, he falls off of the Diary Room couch and out of frame.
On
the All-Star episodes, Kirby, Malin, and Rhine, along with Season 3's
runner-up Danielle Reyes, formed a new alliance called "The
Legion of Doom." However, Rhine was voted out in seventh place,
Reyes was voted out in sixth place; both were evicted largely because
Will and Mike convinced the others they needed to go.
Will had
what he alternately called a "showmance" and a "flirtmance" with
Janelle Pierzina who was also part of the Big Brother All-Stars cast.
She was previously in BB6, finishing in 3rd place. On day 65, after
Janelle was told by Erika that Will had been manipulating her, Will was
evicted by a single vote from Janelle. That night, Janelle had taken
herself off the block with the Power of Veto, leaving his alliance member
and very close friend Mike having to nominate him for eviction. Soon
after, Janelle sent Will to sequester and out of the running to win the
$500,000. Janelle, coached by Erika, dedicated his eviction to avenging
the evictions of her close friends Howie and Marcellas.
It was the first
time Will was evicted from the show in two seasons. Janelle never
went to sequester following Will's friend Mike Boogie evicting her. As
a member of the Big Brother All Stars Jury, Will lobbied for his friend
Mike to win the game. He stated that Boogie did what he had to make it
to the end and played a better game than his opponent Erika. At the roundtable
he did another phone call with Mike Boogie with them both laughing at
his success in making it to the final two. He asked Erika to tell her
his nickname - but this was not shown on the episode. To nobody's surprise,
he cast his vote for friend and ally Mike Boogie, while mentioning to
Erika that she could still call him ‘The Puppetmaster’ (referring
to how he swayed the jury to Mike Boogie's favor) His vote was the fourth
vote for Boogie counted, making it the final vote needed to ensure
a victory for him.
